Squeakies was born and developed from our love of nature. It is widely known that learning in nature offers numerous benefits, enhanced cognitive function, improved mental and physical health and the development of social skills.
Natural spaces encourage child-led learning, where children are given the freedom to decide how they will learn… muddy puddles to jump in, sticks to build dens, tree canopies to shelter under. Added to that the wildlife, ladybirds, beetles, slug and snails, we have an abundant canvas to feed our children’s imagination.
Children are largely untouched by the adults dislike of unpredictable ‘British Weather’… instead we find the smell and feeling of wind and rain invigorating.
At Squeakies we know that being outdoors boosts our serotonin, which may be one of the reasons we have such happy and content children!
We focus on the 3 prime areas of learning in the Early years Foundation stage. Communication and language, Physical development and Personal, Social and Emotional Development. These areas are considered foundational, laying the groundwork for all other learning and development. To find out more (Click here)

During your child’s time at Squeakies, they will be observed and tracked, promoting their individual development.
